Cairo University
The University was founded as an NGO, was inaugurated on December 21, 1908 at a special awards ceremony held by the Council of laws, was attended by khedive Abbas II, on the same day as the opening began to study at the University in the form of lectures, and there wasn't a permanent headquarter forthe University in the beginning; The lectures were given in different places such as the Shura Council, laws, club, high school and House of the newspaper, while taking a university-based which is Sarai Khawaja can ganaklis, and then moved it's headquarter to the brigades, Mohammed sedky street falaky during the First World War. Then turned into a government University on March 11, 1925 under the Decree-Law under the name of "current source", and then moved to its current location in Giza in 1928, and then was modified its name in 1940 from the "current source" to "the University of Fouad the first", and then turned her name finally to the "Cairo University" on September 28, 1953.
