Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria was founded in 1957 by Dr. Ahmed Osman, one of the pioneers of the art of contemporary sculpture and the first Dean of the Ironing, founded the college with the aim of preparing graduate cadres specialized in the field of visual creativity.
