Faculty Of Fine Arts _ Helwan University
The Faculty of Fine Arts was established in 1908 by the Prince, "Yusuf Kamal" one of the royal family before the 1952 revolution, was established in Darb gamames street . And included four sections : sculpture, photography, decoration, and architecture . The transfer of the Faculty of Fine Arts, designed in 1923 from its place to the trail gamames to the new path in sayeda zeinab square, and in 1927 the Ministry of public created Preparatory School for the Fine Arts, and in 1928 it became the high school ( art school graduate ), its name was changed to the Graduate School of Fine Arts and it accepts only those who complete the study successfully in the Preparatory School . And in 1936 a year of preparatory has been added to the four years of study, so the duration of the study became five years after cancelling the system of Preparatory School ,school admission is determined for a certificate of high school completion (certificate of proficiency sections of Arts certificate Bachelor of the Department of architecture) and after passing amasterful exam . school villa has been chosen in the neighborhood of shoubra street mixer No. 11, 1927, and then moved in August 1931 to 91 street in Giza and in September 1935 was moved to its present location, on the street, Ismail Mohamed No. 8 Island estate Zamalek in Cairo after the revolution of July 23 1952 amended its name to the College of Fine Arts and was added to the Ministry of high education for the year 1961 after it had been tracking the Ministry of Education then was annexed to helwan University in October 1975 .
