Faculty Of Science _ Ain Shams University
The Faculty of Science started as a department of the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Azhar University under the name of the Department of Basic Sciences, which began in 1964. And then issued the decision of the President of the United Arab Republic No. (1165) for the year 1970 on the establishment of the Faculty of Science at Al-Azhar University. The text of the resolution: The first article: The Faculty of Science is established at Al-Azhar University and its nucleus is the Basic Sciences Division of the University. Article 2: This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette. Issued by the Presidency of the Republic on 28 June 1970 (signed by Gamal Abdel Nasser).
And after the released decision of the President of the United Arab Republic (No. 1165) of 1970 on the establishment of the Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University .

Article one: arise, Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University and its nucleus, division of basic science the University.
Article two: this resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette.
